Myself and members of our Committee would be happy to attend such a meeting and discuss the details of your future plans. May I suggest a suitable venue would be the foyer of the Burswood Resort Hotel at a mutually convenient time. I would appreciate it if you could let us know who will be attending the meeting from the Westland Group. The meeting would involve the developer, Trevor Betts, and the planner (for technical questions). Trevor is away this week and due to return at the end of the month. Would it be possible to confirm a time closer to this time. I apologise for this timing issue. Please call me any time on 0408 807 870. Would appreciate the opportunity to run over the detail of our proposal. As discussed, it is quite different to Stoneville. We thought perhaps the best meeting place would be at our planner's office Greg Rowe & Associates, 24 - 26 Wickham St East Perth WA 6004 on Friday 22 September after, say, 3pm? Our planner and the developer will be in attendance (as will I) and we think two to three people with an interest in the project would be appropriate from your end. Please note that we do not want to get into an argument, we just merely want to explain our position and address concerns. We look forward to hearing from you and your confirmation. Yours sincerely, Amanda Fay 0408 807 870 --------------------------------------- From: Mike Davies > Sent: Wednesday, 13 September 2006 10:31 PM > To: amanda@afay.net.au > Subject: Re: Meeting with the Westland Group Hi Amanda, We'd be happy to meet at your planner's office on the given date. However, the time poses a few problems and we would prefer a morning meeting, say around 9-30? We would like 3 Committee members to attend and, subject to commitments, a town planner who is part of our team. In order that our meeting can be as productive as possible we would appreciate details of your proposals prior to the meeting and any relevant plans. Finally I don't quite understand your comment re discussion regarding the Stoneville site since our only communication to date has been via email. These blocks as you can imagine are of great interest to those concerned about this proposal. It would be our wish to put such a plan on our website as we realise that the current plan shown is likely to be out of date and we don't want to mis-inform, especially if improvements to the development have been made. We also note that the area originally designated for a sewage plant is shown as a 'water conservation area' in Rundin Realty's literature. Our latest information from the Water Corporation states that the Parkerville site would house the sewage plant for both the Stoneville and Parkerville developments. Therefore clarification on this issue would be appreciated. We have never made a conscious distinction between the Parkerville and Stoneville developments, though I guess our association name would suggest a preference. Interestingly, many of our membership are from those areas most closely linked to the Parkerville site - membership is not contingent upon being a resident of Stoneville. Further support comes from all over Hills and beyond as a result of the site being adjacent to a National Park. Regards, Mike Davies ---------------------------------------
