Description: The HBLG is involved in issues that may impact regional
development within the Swan Valley and surrounding areas; It brings individual
and community concerns to the appropriate level of Government. HBLG offers the
support and assistance to other community groups wishing to lobby Government.
HBLG has a particular interest in environmental issues relating to the land use
and water allocation including the use of best practice of management systems
of both within the Swan Valley and its catchments. Further issues that relate
to the Swan Valley; Equine Leisure & Industry Issues; Right to Farm; Tourism;
Rural Living being impacted by urban developments. Political lobby group for environmental

The HBRW is an internet and (in future a web based community broadcast) for matters
based on security and safety issues for communities based within and around the
"Swan Valley-Gidgegannup Ward" and extensively within the North East
Corridor. The Rural Watch Groups and residents are based within the Swan Valley-Gidgegannup
Ward within the North East Corridor. The associations that are linked into the
HBRW are those of the Swan Valley Tourism Association, Restaurants, Vineyards
and associations and locality groups within corridor. The links of the information
are also linked to that of the Midland and Ellenbrook Police Station contacts.
